Makers Market is an afterschool program designed for budding young entrepreneurs aged 6-12. Here, kids dive into the full experience of bringing a product idea to life, learning to brainstorm, budget, brand, and sell their creations. They’ll use exciting, kid-friendly AI tools to bring designs and marketing ideas into focus, giving them an early taste of what it’s like to turn an idea into a business.

What a Day at Makers Market Looks Like:

• Creativity Kickstart (Afternoon): Kids begin with creative brainstorming, sketching, and planning their unique products or concepts. They’ll discuss ideas, set goals, and get inspired by peers and mentors.
• AI & Design Time: Using age-appropriate AI tools, they’ll bring their ideas to life—designing logos, packaging, and more with the guidance of our facilitators.
• Snack Break & Social Time: A short break with snacks and time to chat with new friends before diving back in.
• Marketing & Budgeting Workshop: Kids learn how to set prices, calculate costs, and create a simple budget for their products. We break down these skills into fun, interactive steps, building their financial literacy.
• Wrap-Up & Reflection: They end the session by sharing their progress, discussing challenges, and setting goals for the next session.

About FutureMakers:
FutureMakers is an afterschool internship program tailored for teens aged 14-18 who are ready to take their ideas and ambitions to the next level. The program offers two flexible paths: in-school guidance and optional Saturday job placements for real-world challenges. Teens work on meaningful projects, learning problem-solving, business skills, and hands-on AI applications that set them apart in their pursuits. Depending on their goals, FutureMakers may choose to either stay in school to refine ideas or take on a Saturday placement for a real-world experience.

What a Day at FutureMakers Looks Like:

• In-School Track: Teens work on their chosen projects with support from mentors, using AI tools and resources to dive into research, design, or marketing. The in-school track provides a safe space to test ideas and develop business strategies.
• Saturday Placement Option: For those ready to step outside the classroom, our Saturday placements connect teens with local businesses or projects related to their goals. Here, they’ll gain hands-on experience, working on live challenges that build skills and confidence.
• Project Development & Mentorship: Every FutureMaker has a mentor who guides their progress, providing feedback and support to help them overcome obstacles.
• Goal Setting & Reflection: Each session ends with a goal-setting activity, helping teens reflect on their learning and stay focused on their project’s next steps.

Awesome Camp is our immersive, American-style overnight summer camp, a blend of STEAM activities and classic summer fun designed for kids aged 5-12. Running each summer through 2025, 2026, and 2027, Awesome Camp includes full accommodations, meals, and a packed schedule of hands-on activities. From science experiments to nature hikes, creative storytelling, and group challenges, Awesome Camp is the perfect place for kids to build skills, make friends, and grow in confidence.
